Industry business unit
The Industry business unit serves a broad spectrum of customers in the steel processing industries. It is based around the activities of ThyssenKrupp Steel AG’s Industry division. As part of a forward strategy in the enlarged EU market, the capacities of the processing operations are to be expanded and optimized. The steel service centers in the core Western European market and the construction elements operating group form important elements in the vertical value chain of the business unit. They are supplied with starting material which they then process to customer order. The Industry business unit also includes the Heavy Plate profit center with its broad range of quarto and cut-to-length plate.
Integrated responsibility within the Industry business unit reduces complexity, enhances management efficiency and ultimately gives us a greater cutting edge on the market.
