Carsten Evers – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Career

Carsten Evers has been Chief Financial Officer of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG since March 1, 2020. Previously he was Chief Financial Officer of the Components Technology business area of thyssenkrupp AG from 2012 to 2020.

Carsten Evers joined the thyssenkrupp Group in 1990. Following a traineeship at Hoesch Rothe Erde, he helped build up the Controlling department at the newly established Krupp Hoesch Maschinenbau.

In 1997 he moved to the stainless steel business for seven years as head of controlling at the holding company thyssenkrupp Stainless AG and as CFO at thyssenkrupp Mexinox. From 2004 to 2007 Carsten Evers was head of Corporate Controlling at thyssenkrupp AG. He was subsequently CFO at thyssenkrupp Marine Systems from 2007 to 2012.

Carsten Evers, born 1964, studied business administration at the University of Frankfurt.
