Ingo Brauckmann is new Head of Logistics at thyssenkrupp Steel

New face at the top of logistics for thyssenkrupp Steel: Ingo Brauckmann, 48, is the new CEO of the Duisburg steel company's Logistics business unit. He replaces Ulrike Höffken, who has held this position for many years. The graduate industrial engineer was most recently Chief Supply Chain Officer at the Berner Group in Cologne. Brauckmann brings extensive experience in executive and board positions with a focus on logistics and supply chain management. Brauckmann previously worked for Redeem Holding, DHL Supply Chain and Henkel in Germany and abroad.

Ulrike Höffken, former CEO of Logistics and for many years Head of Procurement at Steel Europe, retired at the end of 2018. The graduate economist had worked continuously for the Duisburg steel manufacturer since 1985. In addition to her professional duties for thyssenkrupp, she was a member of various supervisory and advisory boards as well as a member of a number of bodies and committees.

With a transport capacity of around 200 million metric tons per year and over 1,300 employees, thyssenkrupp Steel's logistics unit is one of Europe's largest industrial logisticians.
