precidur® precision strip from Precision Steel in Hohenlimburg has the tightest thickness and profile tolerances available in widths of up to 720mm and thicknesses from 1.5mm to 16mm.
In contrast to slit strip, precidur® edges are rounded, without burrs or cracks. As a result, embrittlement through cold work-hardening can be ruled out.
In addition, precidur® offers homogenous material properties, best surface quality and a wide array of grades to choose from. It all adds up to make the material perfect for direct forming processes and ideal for further processing by cold-rolling.
