The type of packaging depends on the means of transportation (truck, rail, ship), the duration of transit and the climatic conditions during transit.
Vertical-eye coils of wide and narrow strip are supplied on a pallet. Horizontal-eye coils can be supplied with or without a platform.
Platforms
The platforms are adapted to the weight and external dimensions of the packaging unit and are suitable for both crane and forklift handling.
PE sheeting
The PE sheeting provides protection against dirt and moisture, is environmentally friendly, suitable for recycling and marked accordingly.
VCI paper
By vaporization of VCI molecules, laminated VCI paper prevents corrosion due to condensation.
Packaging metal
Packaging metal (caps, edge protection rings, wrapping) prevents mechanical damage. The metal can be disposed of as scrap.
Steel strapping
Steel strapping is used to fasten the coils to the platforms.
