As a bargeman, you will become a specialist for logistical solutions on the Rhine and in inland ports. As a railroad worker in operations service, you are responsible for ensuring that people, materials and machines are always in the right place at the right time. You drive locomotives in local and long-distance traffic, couple the right wagons to the locomotive and check their function. In 3 years of training at thyssenkrupp Steel, you will acquire the necessary know-how and open up career paths such as industrial foreman specializing in railway operations, dispatcher or shunting supervisor. Electronics technician for automation technology / operating technology / machine and drive technology (m/w/d)

Modern production facilities are equipped with high-quality and complex automation systems that ensure a smooth and efficient production process. As a prospective electronics technician for automation technology, electronics technician for industrial engineering or electronics technician for machine and drive technology, you will choose an apprenticeship that will train you to become an expert in your field in 3.5 years. As a prospective electronics technician for automation technology, you will be responsible for the integration, commissioning and maintenance of these systems. You will work independently in accordance with safety regulations and coordinate regularly with other teams. Electronics technicians for operating technology, on the other hand, ensure that energy and operating systems function reliably. From assembly to maintenance, you will play a role in various technical areas. As an electronics technician for machine and drive technology, you will take responsibility for electrical drives and machines, with the option of further training to become a master craftsman or technician after your apprenticeship.
