Dr.-Ing. Marie Jaroni – Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Marie Jaroni will take over operational responsibility for production on an interim basis as Chair of the Executive Board. She will also be responsible for strategic corporate management and other functional areas.
Her responsibilities include Upstream Operations, Downstream Operations, Technology, Environment & Maintenance, Strategic Business Development, Communications & Sustainability, and Logistics.

Philipp Conze is responsible for the areas of Controlling, Accounting & Risk; the Purchasing Department, including Energy Procurement. In addition, he is in charge of Production Planning and the construction of the direct reduction plant. Conze is also responsible for Digitalization. His responsibilities also include the subsidiary Electrical Steel.
Wilfried von Rath – Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

In addition to his role as CHRO of thyssenkrupp AG, Wilfried von Rath will take over as Labor Director and Chief Human Resources Officer at thyssenkrupp Steel on November 1, 2025. He will be responsible for human resources management, leadership, and labor relations. Wilfried von Rath will also oversee the Legal & Compliance and Safety & Security departments.
Georgios Giovanakis – Head of CSO (Chief Sales Officer)

Georgios Giovanakis is acting head of CSO (Chief Sales Officer). He is therefore temporarily responsible for all sales management as well as quality, innovation, and research. In addition, he is managing the holistic and performance-oriented transformation of the company and is responsible for Government & Regulatory Affairs. His area of responsibility also includes the subsidiary thyssenkrupp Hohenlimburg (Precision Steel) and the companies EECV, thyssenkrupp Veerhaven, and thyssenkrupp Steel Logistics.
