Company policy

Our company policy on quality, environment, energy and occupational health and safety

Our business processes are part of an integrated strategy to prevent errors, achieve highest product quality and to increase customer and employee satisfaction. A process-oriented approach promotes teamwork within the company.

Our business activities are designed to reflect our sense of responsibility towards our customers, employees, shareholders, society and the environment. With the help of designated methods for monitoring and measuring all our processes, we identify areas where action is needed to ensure continuous improvement of our products, processes and services and our standards of occupational safety and environmental protection and implement the necessary measures.

The quality of our products and processes is a prerequisite for customer satisfaction and for the competitiveness of our company. We keep continuous improvement and optimization systems in place to ensure that these standards are maintained over the long term.

Of course, we also keep our activities at the state of the art where environmental protection is concerned. This includes our commitment to use resources sparingly and to minimize emissions that are harmful to the environment.

We are committed to improve our energy efficiency continuously. For this purpose we provide information and resources by using the regulations documented within our energy management system.

Occupational health and safety are of prime importance. Economic aspects do not take priority over the health and safety of our employees. It is our goal to achieve “zero accidents”, so prevention, hazard identification, risk assessment and risk management all play a very important role.

We are committed to complying with the relevant laws and legal regulations concerning environmental protection and occupational safety. We inform the authorities about environmental and safety issues relating to our activities.

The same standards shall apply to our suppliers and partners. We consider this policy when selecting our business partners.

Our employees on all hierarchical levels are the key to our success. Satisfied, motivated employees are essential if we are to satisfy our customers and shareholders. Thus we closely include all employees into the transposition of our company policy in the production process.

Open communication, a cooperative management style and giving our employees shared responsibility in our business processes create the basis for an involved, reliable, creative and competent workforce. With this in mind, we offer appropriate training programmes for our employees.

All work performed by our employees is intended to secure our company’s business success. Taking the corporate strategy and context as our basis, we define annual targets and measurable indicators for quality, environmental protection, occupational safety and customer satisfaction and agree them with the departments involved.

Implementation of this company policy is guaranteed by our process-oriented management system that conforms to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and OHSAS 18001.
