Swapping lessons for a taste of professional life – work experience at Steel

The decision on what kind of apprenticeship to do isn’t easy, and often it can shape the rest of your career. And who knows what chemical laboratory assistants, machine tool engineers or office clerks really do?

We want to help you find out and give you the chance to get to know the many professions we offer.

For example you can meet us at one of our school student events or initiatives or at a school contact fair: Experts and apprentices are there to tell you about ways of joining the company and give you an exciting glimpse of our working world.

Or you can apply directly for two to three weeks’ work experience at one of our sites.

Or you can take part in the “Kein Abschluss ohne Anschluss” program and take the opportunity (from year 8) to get to know us at a “career orientation” day.

We offer both career orientation days and work experience at all our sites.
