Dirk Schulte becomes new Chief Human Resources Officer at thyssenkrupp Steel
Duisburg, November 7 – In an extraordinary meeting, the Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG appointed Dirk Schulte (59) as the new Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director, following a recommendation by IG Metall. Currently serving as a member of the Executive Board and Labor Director at enercity AG, Schulte will assume his new role at thyssenkrupp Steel on January 1, 2025. Previously, he held similar positions at Salzgitter AG and Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe, among others. The qualified power plant electronics technician and graduate economist commenced his professional career at Thyssen Stahl AG in Duisburg.
