thyssenkrupp Steel at Coiltech Italia 2026: Electrical Steel for Efficient Electric Motors and Transformers

Duisburg, September 23, 2026. At Coiltech Italia 2026, thyssenkrupp Steel will showcase electrical steel solutions for highly efficient electric motors and transformers. The focus will be on the NGO 020 and NGO 025 grades, the stabosol^® bonding insulation solution, and materials that combine high energy efficiency with consistently high material quality and processability. The international trade fair will take place in Pordenone on September 23 and 24.

For electric drive systems, thyssenkrupp Steel will present non-grain-oriented electrical steel under the powercore^® traction brand. The focus will be on the NGO 020 and NGO 025 grades, which were developed for highly efficient electric drives and feature low core losses combined with high mechanical strength. The portfolio is complemented by the stabosol^® bonding insulation solution for bonded stator and rotor stacks.

The materials feature homogeneous mechanical and magnetic properties, high flatness, and tight thickness tolerances, helping to further increase the efficiency of electric motors and generators. thyssenkrupp Steel brings together the required production and processing expertise at its Bochum site.

Solutions for the Energy Supply of the Future

For power transmission applications, the thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel team will provide information on grain-oriented electrical steel for highly efficient transformers, as well as related services for the design and optimization of transformer cores. The materials on display help reduce energy losses and improve efficiency, making an important contribution to a high-performance and reliable power infrastructure.
